# Introducing Optimi Console, now in beta

Live in production since 1 October 2026. Available in beta. A shared view of your edge operations, with the Optimi team alongside you.

**Optimi Console has been live in production since 1 October 2026 and is now available in beta.** MYO was v1 of our customer console. Optimi Console is the next generation, built to help your team and Optimi work from the same operational picture.

Your customers experience one website, one application, one brand. Behind that experience, your team may be coordinating several cloud and edge providers, each with its own console and data. When traffic spikes, performance changes, or a security rule affects legitimate visitors, finding the answer can mean moving between all of them.

Optimi Console brings those investigations together around our three pillars: **Performance, Security, and Visibility**. It combines shared analytics, multi-provider workflows, and an interface for AI assistants, backed by cloud-native architecture and consistent access controls.

## One operational view, fewer disconnected investigations

The edge is the layer of services between your users and your application infrastructure. It delivers content, absorbs traffic, and applies security controls. A content delivery network, or CDN, is one part of that layer.

Optimi Console turns incoming provider logs into structured analytics so infrastructure, security, and digital teams can examine the same activity. A lower cache hit rate, a rise in errors, and a change in crawler traffic can be investigated together, with Optimi helping your team decide what to do next.

This is our “Power of Less” philosophy in practice: less time assembling context, fewer disconnected investigations, and more attention available for the customer experience.

## Performance, Security, and Visibility in one place

The console organizes that shared view around the questions teams need to answer:

- **[Performance](/en/performance):** request volumes, bandwidth, cache behavior, response timing, and HTTP errors. Is the cache absorbing a traffic increase? Which endpoints are generating errors? Where is more traffic reaching the origin, the application servers behind the edge?
- **[Security](/en/security):** blocks, challenges, firewall events, and bot classifications reported by connected protection services. Which rules were involved in a spike? Which traffic was affected? A separately permissioned security-log explorer lets authorized investigators consult request-level evidence within the retained archive.
- **[Visibility](/en/visibility):** crawler request patterns, response codes, crawl-budget usage, available indexing directives, and identifiable AI-crawler traffic. Are crawlers reaching useful pages? Are important paths returning errors? These signals provide evidence for technical SEO and AI-driven discovery.

Available metrics depend on the connected provider, enabled data feeds, and customer access. Teams can use the dashboard, access supported analytics through the API, and export results for further analysis.

## Bring your providers into a common way of working

Different providers bring different strengths. Optimi is vendor-agnostic by design. Optimi Console helps us operate your chosen services together, translating supported capabilities into a common operating model while retaining the differences that matter.

Available integrations bring HTTP logs and, where supported, security events into shared analytics. They also enable supported cache-purge workflows. Coverage depends on your connected services and account configuration.

For a content update delivered through several CDNs, a cache purge asks providers to remove outdated copies so subsequent requests can retrieve fresh content. Optimi coordinates supported purge requests through tracked jobs, taking account of each provider’s acceptance and completion behavior.

Your provider mix can evolve while your team keeps a coherent way of working. Optimi Console supports the day-to-day work of your Optimi team, from investigation to follow-through.

## Built for AI-assisted diagnostics with MCP

An AI assistant becomes more useful when it can consult the systems your team operates. Optimi Console includes an interface built on **MCP (Model Context Protocol)**, a standard way for compatible assistants to discover tools and request information from external systems.

Once the required OAuth authentication setup is in place, the initial read-only tools let an assistant:

- Discover the customer workspaces the signed-in user can access and understand their effective permissions.
- Discover available analytics datasets, metrics, and dimensions.
- Run bounded analytics queries.
- Inspect background-job status, including exports.

A team member could ask an assistant to compare error rates across two time windows, identify the busiest hosts, or check an export. The assistant gathers structured evidence and helps explain the results in the context of the investigation.

**The agent works within the signed-in user’s authority.** Workspace boundaries, permissions, and feature access apply, and tenant-data tool calls are audited. The initial MCP toolset is read-only; production changes remain in explicitly authorized operational workflows.

## Identity and cloud-native architecture at the foundation

Optimi Console uses OAuth and OpenID Connect for authorized access and sign-in, together with workspace membership, role-based permissions, and explicit workspace selection. A person can belong to several customer workspaces with different permissions in each. The same authorization rules govern the dashboard, API, customer command-line client, and MCP tools.

Customer-specific enterprise single sign-on, or SSO, connections are planned for the next phase, building on this existing identity model.

Behind the dashboard, containerized services run on Kubernetes, with distinct workloads for ingestion, processing, application access, and background jobs. Supported processing workloads can scale horizontally. This foundation has been validated with load testing and live production traffic.

Customer log data stays in **Scaleway’s Paris region by default**. Long-lived analytics use a minimized representation of incoming request data, while the retained security archive has separate access and retention controls. Application secrets are stored encrypted with the support of a key-management service.

## What this means during a busy day

Imagine an online retailer launching a seasonal campaign. Traffic rises, more requests reach the application, and the digital team wants to know whether crawlers can still reach key content.

With Optimi Console, the teams begin from the same operational picture. Performance views show cache behavior and errors. Security views add context on reported bot activity and mitigations. Visibility views show crawler requests and the responses they receive.

An authorized engineer using a configured MCP assistant can compare relevant analytics across time windows. The team can review the evidence with Optimi, choose an action, and follow a supported cache-purge job when content needs refreshing.

## Help shape the beta

The beta gives customers an opportunity to shape Optimi Console through real operational use: the questions you investigate repeatedly, the provider handoffs that take too long, and the places where better context would help.

Planned directions include customer-specific enterprise SSO, tenant notifications and reporting, agent-assisted interactions in Slack, additional provider capabilities such as DNS management, broader edge-worker and certificate lifecycles, and filtered live-log subscriptions. Availability will follow as individual capabilities are delivered.

Since 2014, Optimi has helped businesses make their digital services faster, safer, and more visible. Optimi Console gives your team and ours clearer evidence for that work. The expertise, judgment, and operational follow-through remain with the people who run your services.
